Admin/Biographical History Leonard "Len" Zajicek was born at Crete, Nebraska, on December 17, 1927 to Joe and Goldie (Knepper) Zajieck. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. Zajicek worked as a writer for WOW-TV & Radio in Omaha, Nebraska. Zajicek died in Omaha on December 8, 1998 and is buried at Bohemian Cemetery in Omaha.
