The collection contains two letters in German with English translations. One is from Jacob Beutler, publisher of the "Nebraska Staats-Zeitung," Nebraska City, Nebraska, March 12, 1896. It is a thank you for a $6.00 bank draft. The other letter, written June 22, 1883, is from William Wolf, Sextonville, Wisconsin, to Fred Einshaft, North Branch, Nebraska. It tells of Wolf's health, his work for Joseph Warner, and that he is engaged to Sibilla Berger.
