The collection consists of one envelope containing newspaper clippings, speeches and addresses and other ephemera relating to Champion S. Chase and several members of the Chase family. Included are two bank books for Lula E. Chase (Mrs. Clement Chase) dating from 1916-1919) and tax returns for Clement Chase from 1917-1918. The bulk of the collection consists of published speeches and addresses by Champion S. Chase, including: "Corn is King in Nebraska," speech at the North-Western Water-Ways Convention, St. Paul, Minn., September, 3-4, 1885 (2 copies) "The Great American Desert."
