The collection consists of one folder containing information regarding farm equipment that was invented by Ira James Kaar, Havelock, Nebraska. It includes the patent applications he submitted for a Lister Attachment for Planters (1902); a Double Lister (1904); a Potato Feeding Mechanism (1908); a Disk Scraping Mechanism (1906); and a Corn and Potato Planter (1908). There are also three advertising cards for several of the Kaar implements. Also included is a history of the Two-Row Loose-Ground Potato Planter and the Two-Row Loose-Ground Lister (which was manufactured by the Lincoln Lister & Plow Company).
