The collection contains three items including, a brief genealogy of the Kimmel Family from 1662-1908; a "Dispersion of sale catalogue of the Mt. Pleasant Aberdeen-Angus Herd, the Property of Samuel Kimmel, Falls City, Neb., to be offered at Public Sale at the Union House Stables, in Falls City, Nebraska, Thursday, April 22, 1897;" an undated letter signed by Samuel Kimmel with his thoughts about the 1916 election; and a land warrant of transfer of land owned by John Henry Kimmel to Elmer S. Dundy after Kimmel's Death, December 15, 1865. The land was located in Brownville, Nebraska.

The photographs relate to the Resettlement Administration in Nebraska and show farms and farm families from locations throughout the state. Photographs of dust storms and drifts of dust are also included.

There are also photographs of oil fields and dynamite crews working on a drainage ditch.
