This is a U.S. Army woodland camouflage jacket. It belonged to Robert Ford. Ford's name and U.S. Army are stitched into the material. There are two badges on the collar. On the right collar there are crossed swords and 167.This indicates 167th Calvary. The left collar has two bars indicating captain. On the right chest the badge indicates field medical. On the right shoulder the badge looks like two circles one inside the other. The smaller circle is cut into fourths. This indicates 35 infantry division.

Hilt Is Missing Enlisted man's light cavalry saber. Curved, single edged blade has two fullers. Iron alloy blade. Hilt of this specimen is missing. Blade is tarnished but clean. One chip near tip of blade, three inches from tip.

State seal & motto (ninth button is missing); white shoulder loops; three buttons on bottom of each sleeve; inside is lined with heavy cotton and includes breast pocket on left side; vent in back with metal button. Stripes on arms indicate this was worn by a Sergeant.
