This collection contains photocopies of correspondence, writings, and speeches, mostly from the early 1950s, pertaining to William J. Cole and to his advocacy of unicameralism, particularly in Missouri. One letter, May 9, 1950, discusses Cole's age. Also included is a 1912 letter from F.L. Hall of the Nebraska Public Library Commission.

The collection consists of three letters (photocopies only) concerning George B. Graff. The first letter, dated February 4, 1860, is from John M. Clarke (Omaha, Neb.) to President James Buchanan in which he tries to dissuade the President from appointing George Graff as Indian agent to the Omaha Agency due to Graff's support of B.P. Rankin, a political opponent of President Buchanan. The last two letters, dated May 25 and June 4, 1860, discuss Graff's resignation as receiver at the Dakota City, Nebraska, Land Office.

This collection consists of four boxes of political memorabilia mostly relating to the Republican and Democratic National Conventions in 1968 and 1972. The collection is divided into five series: 1) The Republicans, 1968; 2) The Democrats, 1968; 3) The Republicans, 1972; 4) The Democrats, 1972; and 5) Non-Convention Materials, 1970-1974. Several oversized items are listed at the end of this inventory. Of special interest is the "Welcome Nixon" poster. This is an example of a poster that Omaha school children were encouraged to make for Richard Nixon's visit to Omaha in the fall of 1970. Many of these posters were taken by anti-Nixon protesters.
