11209-1 - Jacket, Service, Military, USA, Cadet Nurse Corps, WWII, Opal Reighter

Cadet Nurse Corps winter uniform. Light gray wool suit jacket with button-down front, two pockets on front with flaps and buttons, and a tapered waist. All buttons have the U.S. Navy symbol on them (eagles and anchors). Two metal Navy lapel pins on each collar. The shoulders have gray wool and red ribbon straps with Navy buttons and cross insignia. There is a gray patch on the proper left sleeve with a red center with a white cross in the middle with U.S. on it. "Cadet Nurse" also on the patch. The lining is rose satin.

The main colors are red and black. The bottom of the poster indicates that it is "O. W. I. NO. 7."
