This collection contains materials that relate to Allan John Cameron and his service as a captain in the Army Medical Corps, Company 35, Fort Riley, Kansas, in World War I. Papers relating to his work and personal life in Herman, Nebraska, are also included. Among the personal papers are an inventory showing drugs held by Dr. Cameron in 1915; military life insurance documents; stock certificates and information on the Hupp Automatic Mail Exchange Company, 1914, and Nebraska Clay Products Company; and a benefit certificate of the Supreme Lodge of the Fraternal Union of America.

This collection consists of photographs related to the Resettlement Administration in Nebraska and to agriculture during the Great Depression. This collection consists of photographic prints, 1930s. The photographs relate to the Resettlement Administration in Nebraska and show farms and farm families from locations throughout the state. Photographs of dust storms and drifts of dust are also included.

Also included are images from various Nebraska communities. This collection consists of photographic prints, primarily postcards from various Nebraska communities. Homes, churches, street scenes, hotels, courthouses, and parks are among the subjects portrayed most frequently. A few of the images show rowboats on lakes in Lincoln and David City, Nebraska. The Nebraska communities pictured include Sargent, Fremont, Norfolk, Stanton, Friend, and Taylor
