This collection consists of photographic prints and negatives, 1886-1949, mostly 1902-1919. There are posed photographs of fire fighters and equipment in front of fire stations, as well as photographs of fire fighters in action. A few images show horses in full stride pulling fire equipment, while others show actual fires in Lincoln, Nebraska. The photographs illustrate advances in fire fighting technology.
