Title Harry Love Crawford
Description Harry Love Crawford moved with his family to a farm in Cedar Township, Buffalo County, Nebraska, in 1884. He received his early education in Platte and Buffalo Counties. The bulk of this collection relates to the pioneers and historical events of Buffalo County, Nebraska, 1872-1958. Photographs include street scenes of Kearney, Nebraska, and farm scenes.

This collection contains photographic prints. Included are parade floats and farm scenes showing haying, threshing, and corn shelling, ca.1900s; farm houses, 1900-1950; churches, 1910-1954; and street scenes of Kearney, Nebraska, 1910-1920. Also included is a photograph of a 1916 Studebaker and photos of Harry L. Crawford's hearse. Of special interest is the photo of Mrs. Asbury Collins at the controls of the first airplane flown in Kearney, Nebraska.
