Description This is a stereoview showing members of the Omaha Indian Tribe seated on ground or standing in the background. It is identified as "Chiefs and Policemen" posing with Omaha Agent Painter. Painter is seated on the right, wearing a wide-brimmed hat, and the man seated to his left is identified as Omaha Chief Pa-de-gi-e. In the background can be seen open prairie and stacks of cut lumber. Also in photo is Hiram Chase (not sure which one he is).
