Description Gage County was established by an act of the Nebraska Legislature in March 1855. This collection consists of photographs and moving images. Many of the photographs show town structures, such as schools, banks, and churches.

This collection consists of photographic prints, negatives, and postcards. Photographs of Beatrice show the interior and exterior of the Beatrice Public Library in the early 1900s; the new Beatrice High School, 1912; the Burlington depot, 1913; the Burlington lunch room, 1906; and various Union Pacific train engines, ca.1940. Photographs from other towns include the Wymore/Blue Springs Enterprise Carriage Service, 1880s; a 1915 portrait of the Liberty football team; the Adams State Bank, 1909; the Otoe Mission House in Barneston; and the mill and bridge at Blue Springs in the late 1800s.
