This collection relates to the public service, career, and family life of William Rankin McGeachin (1882-1965). McGeachin is noted for his support of highway beautification projects and legislation to restrict billboards along Nebraska's highways.
This collection consists of four albums and one folder of photographs. The bulk of the photographs dates from the 1930s. Albums one and two include images of Civilian Conservation Corps camps. Throughout the albums are images of sports, such as football, golf, and track and field. Lincoln, Nebraska, and University of Nebraska-Lincoln, events are represented in the snapshots. Vacation and family snapshots are also included.
