Title Photo of Clarence Chamberlin's Visit
Description A photo of Clarence Chamberlin, a famous aviator, speaking to a crowd gathered in his hometown of Denison, Iowa. He is standing in front of a microphone on a stand which is strung with patriotic garlands and on which a number of local notables and his wife are seated, along with a brass band that is in army uniforms. The crowd is gathered in front of a memorial to the men in the vicinity who gave their lives in World War One. There are a number of reporters on the stand and among the crowd, along with a photographer. The street near the gathering is lined with parked cars, including some parked in the middle of the street, along with the Schlewsig family float. There is a man on a ladder filming the scene for a newsreel in the middle of the crowd.
