Description Magazine clipping of pages twenty-eight and twenty-seven from Liberty magazine published by Macfadden Publications. Color offset lithograph on white paper. Page twenty-eight features two columns of text, an illustration on the right side of the page, and a black square on the lower left corner. Printed on the black square is white text with the title of the story and the author's name: "A Story of Tangled Lives // and Loves, and a Plot that // Found the Wrong Victim // by // Rose // Wilder // Lane." The illustration is of a a man standing on a hill. Behind him stands another man and in the distance, below the hill, is a house, hills, and water. Beneath the illustration is a caption. At the top of the page a date and note is written in blue ink: "2/17/34 The arch type Hill Billy." The page number is printed on the lower left corner. Page twenty-seven features a column of text on movies and a photograph from a movie and an advertisement for Lux Toilet Soap. Written at the top left of the page in graphite is the date of the article. The page number is printed on the lower right corner.
