Description The envelope has the First Day of Issue Commemorative Gerald R. Ford Stamp. The stamp design is of a colored painting of former President Gerald R. Ford with his name written in white above his head. "41 USA" is in gold in the bottom left hand corner of the painting design. Four lines, "First Day of Issue" and a circle enclosing the words "Rancho Mirage CA", "Aug 31 2007" and "92270" are stamped on the envelope in black in the area under the First Day of Issue Commemorative Gerald R. Ford Stamp. The envelope is white with purple stamp outlines forming a border on the front left side. The envelope flap is lavendar. In the front bottom left hand corner is the United States Postal Service logo and name in white on a black rectangle. Next to it stretching out across the bottom half of the front of the envelope is a purple rectangular outline. Inside this outline is "first day of issue ceremony" written in purple.
