Description Color offset lithograph on white paper. Lithograph titled "Camping in the Woods" by Arthur F. Tait and Nathaniel Currier. Image on the paper is of four men camping in the woods. Three men in shirts, pants, and tall black boots are seated/lying down on blankets. The fourth man is standing, resting one leg on a moss covered log, and leaning on his knee. The men are smoking and conversing. Lying between the men are several birds and fish that they killed. Behind them is a brown blanket covering a lean-to. A brown and white dog is lying next to the group of men. Beyond the camp is the forest and a lake on the left edge. Visible in the distance are hills and birds in flight. The blue sky has a few clouds. Beneath the print is black text with the artist names, copyright information, and the title. The print is framed by black lines. Graphite notes are written along the bottom edge by John Falter. Printed on the back of the paper are four paragraphs discussing Currier & Ives prints with featuring a dog. The four paragraphs are in two columns with the title "The Dog" printed above and the names of four prints printed below.
