Description Sample ballot for the General Election on November 3, 1970 from Lincoln. The ballot is printed with black ink on white paper. It reads, centered and from the top, "Sample Ballot; (Non-Political); Proposed Amendments to the Constitution; General Election, November 3, 1970". The page is then divided into three columns, the first having 6 amendments, the second having 5 amendments, and the third having 4 amendments. Amendment 1 would lower the voting age to 20 years of age, Amendment 3 would make it unnecessary to read bills in the Legislature in full before a vote, and Amendment 15 limits the legislative session to 90 legislative days in odd-numbered years and 60 legislative days in even-numbered years. The amendments are separated by horizontal lines and each has 2 boxes, one marked "For" and one marked "Against". Amendment 13 has 6 boxes, 3 marked "For" and 3 marked "Against".
