Description Magazine clipping of the January 8, 1955 Saturday Evening Post cover. Color offset lithograph on white paper. The cover features the illustration "Kittens in the Basement" by John Falter of a basement with a woman in a tan skirt and red shirt standing at the base of some stairs and man wearing a red shirt and slacks standing on the stairs. Sitting on the floor next to a cardboard box is a boy in a blue striped shirt and a girl is a red striped shirt. Lying in the box is a cat with kittens. Sitting next to the boy is a dog. A dish with milk sits to the right of the box. At the top of the page is the title of the magazine, date, and a listing of articles contained in the magazine. An address stamp is adhered to the lower right corner. On the reverse side is an advertisement for L&M's cigarettes.
