Title Pin Cushion, Beaded; Large, Heart Shaped, Red Velvet

Description Large pin cushion made of fabric, with unknown stuffing. The fabric on the front of the pin cushion is orange velvet and the back is covered with blue glazed cotton. The front of the pillow is heavily beaded with raised beadwork done in large glass beads. The beadwork is appliqued onto the fabric, with the paper templates visible underneath the beads. The design features floral and leaf motifs. Small gold colored metal sequins are scattered around the design. The central floral shape has a tassel hanging from the center. The bottom edges of the cushion are trimmed with loops of beadwork. The beads used in this cushion are predominately clear, with accents of green, blue, pink, red and gray. The beads are attached to the textile with thread.
