Description Color gravure on white paper. The print, titled "Home to Thanksgiving" by G. H. Durrie, N. Currier, and J. M. Ives, features a snow covered farm house, barn, pen, and shed. The farm house, on the right is made of wood and has a porch. Five people, four adults and a baby, wearing winter clothing are standing on the porch conversing. A sleigh with a brown horse sits to the left of the house. In the middle-left of the print is a low fence and barn. The doors of the barn are open and a figure is inside shoveling hay. To the right of the barn are cows. In the foreground an ox team is pulling logs. A figure with a switch is standing next to the logs. On the left edge is a shed which houses farm implements. Two trees stand behind the shed. A tree is visible behind the house. In the distant background are hills. The print is framed by white. The title, artist's names, location and copyright information are engraved below the print.
