Description Color offset lithograph on white paper. Yellow poster featuring the June 20, 1953 Saturday Evening Post cover signed by the artist. Text is printed above the cover. The cover features the illustration "Learning to Fly" by John Falter. The illustration depicts a boy in a homemade flying contraption standing on the roof of a white garage. On the ground is a red mattress. Standing in front of the mattress is the boy's parents yelling at the boy. Other kids are standing around watching. The houses next door have people poking out their doors, standing in front watching the commotion. In the background are houses, trees, and a water tower beneath a yellow/blue sky. On the lower left corner of the cover is the artist's printed and handwritten signature. At the top of the page is title of the magazine, date, and a listing of articles contained in the magazine. Printed on the bottom right edge is the manufacturing date.
