Description Color offset lithograph on white paper. Magazine clipping from the Saturday Evening Post. An advertisement for Campbell's soups. The ad is a single illustration. It is divided into five sections by diagonal bands of different background colors. The upper portion has 'Three soups that win the men's vote ... and they are so easy to prepare.' on the proper right side in type that gets smaller with each line. Under that is a section of type. On the proper left side of the upper portion is a man in a grey suit. Under this section is one about vegetable soup. On the proper right side is a section of text titled 'Vegetable soup.' In the center of this section is an illustration of a bowl of vegetable soup. On the proper right side is an illustration of a can of vegetable soup. The next two sections are just as the first but with Chicken soup and Scotch Broth soup, respectively. On the bottom, on the proper right side is an illustration of a little boy in shorts putting a ballot in a ballot box. he says 'I vote the straight ticket, True to my party-, And that's Campbell's Soups, So substantial and hearty. Next to this, on the proper left side is the Campbell's soup logo. Written on the top edge in graphite: "Sept., 1936." On the reverse side is an advertisement for "Hotpoint Hi-Speed Calrod."
