Description Red Strathmore "Alexis Layout" sketchbook. Contains twenty-eight pages of graphite sketches. First page is a blank protective laminated newspaper. One page of sketches of cars on a street. Five pages of sketches depicting variations of a male head and hand removing his glasses. Following are sketches done in rectangle boxes depicting various scenes: a wall with figures gathered near it; three sketches with boats on a river; a platform on a tree with figures sitting and standing on it; a military marching band on parade; six sketches of musicians playing in buildings--one with notes written on it by Falter; one military scene; one sketch of the wheels of a train; five drawings of an eagle emblem with "This Treasured Land" inscribed; sketches of two foxes; a sketch of a baseball diamond and home base with "Sacrifice" titled on the page; and one page of sketches of a running figure.
