Description Doll with bisque head. Fixed eyes and painted features. Blonde wig. Paper Mache body. Wearing a dress made of crepe paper and ribbon. dress has train in back and 3/4 sleeves. She is holding a bouquet of flowers in her left arm with ribbons hanging from it. Has similar flowers in her hair and netting.

History From the estate of Mrs. J.C. Seacrest (Jessie E. Snively). The doll dates from about 1909-1912 and was used as a table decoration. Jessie was born in Franklin County, PA she married Joseph Claggett Seacrest in 1892. They later came to Nebraska where Joseph was the publisher of the Lincoln State Journal. They had three children, Fred S., Joe W., and Jessie H. (Mrs. Alan McIntosh).
