Object Name Poster
Description Color offset lithograph on white paper. Yellow poster featuring the Saturday Evening Post cover for the December 1, 1956 issue beneath a red rectangle with text. The cover features the illustration "Jamming with Dad" by John Falter. The illustration depicts an older male (who looks suspiciously like Falter himself), dad, in a blue sweater playing piano. His son sits next to him on the bench. Behind the two is a boy sitting behind a drum kit leaning on his knees, a boy with a trumpet leaning back in his seat asleep, and a boy with a trombone on his lap leaning on his elbow asleep. Standing by the wall of the room is a woman with her hands on her hips. On the wall are photographs of jazz musicians. On the lower left corner is the artist's printed and handwritten in ink signature. At the top of the page is title of the magazine, date, and a listing of articles contained in the magazine. More text is printed below the magazine cover. Printed on the bottom right edge is the manufacturer's name and date.
