Description Old Gold offset lithograph. Ad on white paper with black and red copy text and an illustration. The illustration is of a couple, a military man in uniform and his date, a woman in a red suit, at a restaurant. They are seated at a table with a red and white checkered table cloth. A waiter stands behind them with a palm slapped to his face. An upturned plate of spaghetti is in front of the military man. The woman is offering him an Old Gold cigarette. A title, "Why Be Irritated?" is printed above the military man's head. Below the illustration: "Light an Old Gold!" Below the illustration is additional ad text describing Old Golds cigarettes and their guard against dryness. Next to the copy is a carton of Old Golds. At the top of the page is a note from Curtis Publishing for use as a proof for their magazines.
