Image of sailing ship with a black hull and three masts sailing on a blue-green ocean with white caps. The white sails of the ship are billowing against a blue sky with white clouds. View of the starboard side of the ship as it travels to the right. Figures are visible standing on the deck of the ship. In the background a mountainous land is visible. A sailing ship sails in the distant on the right edge. A dingy and net are visible on the lower right. The image is bordered by white. A plate mark frames the image. Printed in the lower left corner in black: "Printed in U.S.A." A sheet of paper is attached to the print on the upper left corner. The sheet has the name of the print and a short biography of the ship, artist credit line, and credit to the painting's owners.
