History From donor file: Pearl Campbell Essex was a member of the Omaha tribe, b. 1873 (date of death not in file). Her parents were Emily Barnaby and Samuel Campbell. Her grandparents were Michael Barnaby ( French Fur Trader) and an Omaha woman of the name Baptiste. Appears the items in her collection are Omaha and collected on or near the reservation.
