The group are seated on the ground and on stone benches. In the background is a grass and a forest. in the distance a building with a turret is visible. Printed beneath the image is the title of the painting and the artist's name: "The Decameron // From a Painting by Jacques Wagrez." Written on the left edge is a note and an arrow pointed to the image in blue ink written by John Falter.
