White paper menu for Fort Robinson 1940 Christmas dinner secured inside a slightly larger white cover by two staples along the center fold. Red etching-type design in the center of the front cover depicts a candle against a wreath surrounded by a light green leaf border. Light green lettering reads "Remount Depot / Christmas 1942 / Fort Robinson, Nebraska." Menu is printed in red ink on first inner page. Remaining seven pages and inner back cover contain a troop roster arranged by rank. Small red horse silhouette on the back cover.
Six names and addresses written in black ink pen on the back cover. While the names are mainly illegible, the addresses include Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa, and Texas. Also written on the back is "18July74." On the last page of the roster, which lists the medical detachment, at least half the names have a checkmark next to them.
