Description Color offset lithograph on white paper. Yellow poster featuring the September 2, 1950 Saturday Evening Post cover. Printed across the top is a red rectangle with text. The cover features the illustration "Family Baseball" by John Falter. The illustration depicts a bird's-eye view of a white country farm house, garden, red barn, and baseball diamond beside the house. In the foreground is the diamond with a chain link fence as a backstop on the left. A game is in progess with a woman at bat, fielders waiting for the pitch, and people standing on the sidelines. A few people are sitting by the back of the house by the garden. Cars are lined up by the between the house and the barn. In the distance are trees--a windbreak--and yellow and green fields. On the lower left corner is the artist's printed and handwritten in ink signature. At the top of the page is title of the magazine, date, and a listing of articles contained in the magazine. Printed on the bottom right edge is the manufacturing location and date.
