The second mast is flying a flag, the third mast is flying seven flags, and the American Flag is flying at the stern. The ship is black and is rolling on green wavy seas. In the distance to the left another sailing ship is visible. Large clouds cover the blue sky. Engraved beneath the image is the title, artists, copyright, and manufacturing credits. Also engraved are the ship's specifications--length, breadth, tonnage, etc. The image is framed by a tan border, and then the paper's edge. Graphite notes are written on the top and bottom edge of the print by John Falter. The reprint company's name--New York Graphic Society--and information is printed on the lower left.|
