Description A political yard sign promoting Mary Harding. The sign has a white background and all the text is light blue. At the top on the proper right is 'Re-elect' under which is 'Mary Harding' Under this is a line, extending to the proper left where there is the image of a windmill. Along the bottom is 'Nebraska Public Power District, Clean Energy' on the proper right, and '' on the proper left. The other side is the same. The sign is a piece of cardboard folded in half so the fold is at the top, with a U shaped piece of metal was inserted inside. The edges and across the middle are staples to hold the paper on the metal.

People Harding, Mary
History This sign is from Mary Harding's 2008 campaign for the board of the Nebraska Public Power District. Harding won the election. She focused her campaign on renewable energy and energy efficiency and conservation programs. Thus, her campaign sign features windmills.

Harding also serves as Executive Director of the Nebraska League of Conservation Voters. Harding and her husband, Richard Erickson, operate a residential rental property business in Lincoln. She has also served as the Executive Director of the Nebraska Environmental Trust Fund and as legislative representative for manufacturers, retailers, agricultural production organizations and environmental and public interest groups.
