Description Full color offset lithograph on white paper. Print of a steamboat docked next to a grassy bank. People are standing on the boat and the bank cheering on a rider on a brown horse, riding toward the right corner. A yellow light illuminates the side of the steamboat, the passengers, and the spectators. An red, white, and blue banner is affixed to the railing of the steamboat. A band plays on the deck of the boat. Steam rises from the smokestacks. In the background is a blue river, two steamboats, and the other bank with buildings and lights drawn beneath a darkening sky. Printed on the back of the paper is "Over the River / First Run, Pony Express" in capital letters.
