George Churley served as Producer/Writer/Talent (August-1975 through April-1980) on KOLN-TV/KGIN-TV (CBS affiliates with simulcast programming in Lincoln and Grand Island, NE) half-hour children’s show, "Kalamity Kate’s Cartoon Corral." Little Reggie was a character created specifically for "Kalamity Kate's."
This rod puppet version was from the George Churley Puppet Company two-puppeteer touring show, "Puppets & People," in which Flash T. Horse talks Reggie into taking over the puppet show. They then built puppet versions of themselves as well as of the two puppeteers. The George Churley Puppet Company (1973-1980) presented over 700 live performances (one-, two- and three-puppeteer productions) in 16 states.
