Description One crazy block. Multi silk and cotton fabrics in pastels. Decorated with hand embroidery , mostly flowers (one sprig of shamrocks), in French knot, satin, stem, feather and lazy daisy stitches. Backing is loosely woven cotton.

History Pillow cover made by donor's maternal grandmother, Nancy Agnes Wray Baker (Mrs. Rodney Spaulding Baker) of Bartley, Red Willow County, NE. Came to NE from Osage, Mitchell County, Iowa sometime after 1862 and before 1887. Nancy Baker was a church worker and for many years a member of the Bartley School Board.
