Description Hexagon "flowers" are connected with yellow checked hexagons, same yellow check also used in 1" border on sides and 1/2" borders, top and bottom. Flowers have solid colored centers surrounded by 6 printed hexagons-most pastel flowered prints. Hand-pieced and quilted. Eight stitches to inch in outline pattern. Back is white. Edges are finished by folding front and back edges underhand machine stitching on outside edge. Colors: multi (mostly pastels)

History Anna Voightman Franz's parents were both immigrants from Hanover Province, Germany. They were married in Tamora, NE in 1888. Anna's father was killed in a railroad accident in 1899 when she was one. She married Clarence Franz, also of Tamara in 1920. She died in 1981.
