Description Page from a scrapbook featuring newspaper clippings, a valentine, and grade school report card adhered to a grey piece of construction paper. On the front page is a newspaper clipping from the Kansas City Star titled "The Tea Off" with a cartoon and a contest winners announcement printed beneath. The contest was for the naming of the cartoon, won by George H. Falter. To the right of the clipping is ink handwritten with the caption "this is Dad's title for the picture is printed in the Kansas City Star. To the right of the clipping is a valentine. The valentine features a boy and girl framed in a paper heart. Inside the valentine is a poem and handwritten inscription, "Ann made this // for her big cousin // John." Adhered to the bottom of the page is John Falter's seventh grade report card on blue paper. To the right is a handwritten caption. On the back is one newspaper clipping from the Falls City Journal titled "Falls City Scouts Return from Camp" captioned beneath with the date. The article mentions Falter going to camp. Remnants of paper are adhered to the construction paper. Ink captions are written on the right edge. On the lower right edge a newspaper clipping is cut from the construction paper. The clipping's caption describes the clipping as an announcement for prizes Falter won.
