Description Ink, watercolor, charcoal and chalk illustration on Bainbridge Illustration board. Treasure Island illustration of three men standing in a ship's cabin. One man, in a black coat, pants, boots and hat is standing with his fist resting on a table. The man faces two other men in white wigs, coats, breeches, stockings, and shoes talking at the man. They are standing on wooden boards beside a table with books and parchment on the table. In the background is the bulkhead and a porthole. On the left side are two lines drawn with arrows at the head and "Reduce 18" to 6 7/8"" written in ink between the lines. On the back of the board is the manufacturer's seal, and ink notes made by the artist. Two sheets of paper are taped to the back of the board and are folded over the front for a cover. On the cover "Stevenson: // Treasure Island" is written in red ink.
