Object Name Box, Cigar
Description Brown cigar box with blue and white paper labels on all edges. Labels have repeating pattern of "Habana" and "Hand made" with shields, banners, features. Off-center, left, of box has the image of a wheel with "Road Queens" written over the spokes. Dust is settling around it. Below the wheel is the factory and district number. Wrapping entirely around the right of the box was a blue government seal sticker - only partial bits of the sticker remain, but and outline of the sticker is shown. Front of box has "Road Queens" stamped. Left side has a seal sticker with brad name and a full color image of two women riding bikes, and it wraps onto the bottom. Back side of box has remains of a white sticker that had info on manufacturer and location, factory and district number, and a notice about cigar box laws. It wrapped onto the bottom. Inside the box is lined with paper, part torn away. Top edge of back side has "Smoke Read Queens Cigar" over a banner. Lid has an extended image of the left side seal sticker. The brand name in gold over the image of two women on bikes in a residential area, with gold designs along the edges of the oval shaped image. The paper labels are torn, missing and falling off. There are scratches in the wood. The lid is warped down. There are black mark and stains. The labels and edges are worn. The inside of the box is dirty. The inscription on the lid reads "Fact. No 206 Dist. NEB. 50."
