|Title||Moccasins, Pair, Woodland Style, Soft Sole; Adult|
|Description||Adult moccasins with a soft sole and seams at the front and rear. U shaped instep is decorated with beaded floral motif that incorporates light blue, white, clear red, clear yellow, pink and dark green beads. Floral motif is of a single 5 point flower extending downward from two spiraled leaf/bud shapes. The edges of the instep are trimmed with red wool fiber fragments that are wrapped around cotton thread. A separate cut high, wrap-around cuff with straight cut edges with a green silk binding attached with thread. A flap of buckskin also with green silk binding is attached between the foot opening and the wrap around cuff. This binding extends past the ankle flap edges and serves as ties. This flap is decorated with glass beads applied in a zig zag shape. The square shaped tongue is cut from the single piece of leather. A double ply piece of thin cardboard is stitched to the tongue to give it support. The moccasins have a pointed toe and are gathered to the instep. The beads are attached with an overlay and lazy stitches and thread.|
