Description Oil on canvas painting by John Falter. Image of a golden brown dog lying in grass with its head frontal and body turned in a three-quarter side view. The dog has long ears and light red/brown coat of a cocker spaniel. Lying in the grass with an apple in the foreground, the dog is looking directly at the viewer with its tongue hanging partly out of his mouth. In the background is a grey fence. The artist signed and dated the painting on the lower right corner. The canvas is stapled to a wood stretcher on the sides.
