Description Badge for a "Member" of the G.A.R. at the "Annual Encampment" by the "Dept. of Nebr. G. A. R." "Lincoln" is listed as the location of the event and the dates of the event were "May 9-10-11, 1922." All writing is in silver lettering on a red, white, and blue rectangular ribbon tapering at the top. Above and attached to the ribbon is a white button with an image of a medal consisting of a golen eagle with wings outstreched above a miniature American Flag attached to a five pointed star with the words, "Grand Army of the Republic Veteran" around a central emblem of three figures flanked by two American flags. On the back of the button is a pin lacking any safety features so that one may attach the badge to clothing.
