Description Color offset lithograph on white paper. The print, titled "The Great Ocean Yacht Race" by Charles Parsons and Nathaniel Currier, features three sailing ships sailing on a blue-green wavy ocean. The ship's are racing toward the right. The ships have white sails, two masts each, and black hulls. The ship on the left edge has a red flag flying on its second mast. The ship in the middle has a white flag flying on its second mast. The ship on the left has a blue flag flying on its second mast. The first mast has a sail with a red cross painted on it. Figures are visible on the decks of each ship. Large green clouds cover the blue sky. Engraved beneath the image is the title, artists, copyright, and manufacturing credits. The image is framed by a tan border, and then the paper's edge. Graphite notes are written on the right edge of the print by John Falter. The reprint company's name--New York Graphic Society--and information is printed on the lower left.
