Description Nine Patch quilt. Cotton, Flannel. Predominate colors are white, gray, blues, greens. The backing is a striped flannel. It has no batting. It is a tied quilt, but most of the ties are gone. Top was machine pieced.

History Top and bottom of quilt was tied comforter until batting was removed. Appears to have been used a lot. Donated in Memory of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Mortimore. This quilt came from the Mortimore family. Howard Mortimore, donor's father, (1884-1942) moved to a farm near Palmyra in 1923. Previously lived north of Unadilla. Donor's mother was Gertrude Johnson.
