Description Advertising brochure for Reader's Digest's "Great Stories for Young Readers." The color offset lithograph on white paper is folded down the middle. The front of the brochure features introductory ad copy and the book. The book, a thick tome with a white book jacket, is featured in front of illustrations pulled from different stories contained in the book--Lassie, penguins, boys, cowboys, photographers, flying cars, and horses are included. The centerfold has text describing the book, the stories from all genres contained, and the price ($5.98 plus shipping). Accompanying the text are some illustrations from the book--a cowboy roping cattle, a King, Benjamin Franklin, a man being shaved, a trolley, and a lumberjack. On the bottom right is the image of the book opened to a story. On the back is a photo of two children reading the book and a complete listing of the 70 stories in the book. The bottom of the page describes a free-trial period.
