Description Color offset lithograph on white paper. Cover for the magazine Western Story, published by Street & Smith. The cover is green with an image of a cowboy wearing a white shirt, black vest, yellow neckerchief, and leather wrist guards, lying on tan rocks holding a pistol. The man is looking toward the right. In the background are more rocks, buttes and a cliff. The artist's signature is signed in black on the middle left. Above the image is black and white text: "Street & Smith's // Feb. 6. 1932 // Western Story // Magazine // Every Week." Printed beneath the title on the left edge is the price: "15¢". Printed on the lower right is black text: "Robert J. // Horton // John Frederick // Max Brand // and others."
