Springer, William E.
History Carl Curtis was a Republican politician from the Minden area. He attended Wesleyan University at Lincoln and practiced law before being elected to the House of Representatives for the term beginning in 1939. He served in the House for 16 years prior to running for and winning a Senate Seat in 1954. He served four terms in the Senate before electing not to run in 1978. Curtis died in 2000.
